Harbor Commission

The Harbor Commission consists of 5 – 9 members appointed by the City Council for 2 year terms. Meetings are held as necessary in the Council Room of the Municipal Building. The Harbor Commission serves as an advisory body to the City Council. The duties of the commission is to hear appeals, hear and decide revocation proceedings, consider waiver requests, recommend Ordinance amendments and proposed Rules and Regulations to the City Council, and conduct studies and make recommendations to the City Council on water use and the conditions of navigable waters within the City limits. The Chair may call for special meetings as needed.
